Ginou Choueiri was born in Beirut, Lebanon. After finishing her college degree in the US, she worked several years in advertising in the Middle East. In 2003, she attended an art workshop in Barcelona and ended up living there for four years, creating and exhibiting her work. Her art has been shown internationally and featured in leading news sites around the world. She is now based in Beirut and currently preparing for her first solo show to take place in November 2009.
